German Embassy in Malawi funds Making Music in Malawi

The German Embassy in Malawi has contributed funds towards publishing forthcoming book Making Music in Malawi by John Lwanda PhD. 

Today Logos Open Culture Director Mutisunge Etter-Phoya met with the German Ambassador to Malawi Jürgen T. Borsch to collect a cheque.

On the financing, Muti said:

Dr Lwanda has invested in Malawian music for over two decades – readers are in for a treat! This work represents the core of Logos Open Culture’s vision to capture and curate important stories about Malawi through high quality research, packaged in well-crafted products.

Making Music in Malawi will be available for purchase in the third quarter of 2021.
